Old gold and chocolate brown are the colours of an oak wood in late autumn, when the leaves have turned and the acorns are underfoot. This is the collection I made to hold on to that time of year, and the moments I love most in it: gathering acorns and looking up through the oak branches.
Golden oak leaves and acorns scatter across a rich brown ground in a Fair Isle pattern I designed myself, finished with a ribbed brim that turns back for extra warmth over the ears.
Each beanie is knitted individually by me here in Cumbria, in 100% merino wool. It’s soft enough to wear all day against your skin, and warm without the weight.
Choose your own colours. If you’d like this beanie in a different pairing, get in touch and I’ll share the colours I have available and knit one for you.
Unisex, and lovely worn with the matching cowl, fingerless gloves or poncho from the collection.
