ICarry the shape of the Scafell range with you on every walk. This magenta pink and dark grey beanie is knitted with the contour lines of Scafell and Scafell Pike, handmade in my Cumbrian studio for fell walkers, map readers and Lake District lovers. My husband, Mark Appleton of Mark Appleton Design, created the original contour graphic, and I translated his lines into a knitting pattern that wraps all the way around the hat. Turn up the deep ribbed cuff for extra warmth over your ears, or wear it loose for a slouchier fit. The merino wool has no chemical superwash treatment, so it keeps its natural softness, breathes well on the climb and holds its warmth when you stop at the top.
