The Ripples Tunic — Indigo

There's something about the pattern on this one that keeps drawing me back to it. The shoulder seams show how the colour-work pattern flows outward, fanning across the shoulders and chest like the rings that spread from a stone dropped into still water. — it reminded me of watching ripples spread across a pond, which is where the name and inspiration for this collection came from.

It's knitted from a blend of 50% merino, 25% silk and 25% nylon tweed-look yarn. The merino keeps it soft and warm without any bulk, the silk gives it a gentle sheen, and the tweed-look nylon adds texture and helps the pattern hold its definition.

One of the things I love most about this piece is how easy it is to wear through the seasons. It's lovely and lightweight, so you can wear it on its own on a milder day, or layer it over a shirt or fine knit when it's cooler — no need to retire it once summer's over.

Size: One size Care: Machine wash at 30°, dry flat

If you've been looking for something that doesn't need much thought to wear well, this might be the one.
