Not every autumn day is gold and copper. Azure and teal give my oak leaf pattern a cooler, quieter feel, like an oak wood on a still, damp morning. The collection began with the things I love most about this time of year: gathering acorns and looking up through the oak branches.
Pale azure oak leaves and acorns scatter across a deep teal ground in a Fair Isle pattern I designed myself. The cowl is doubled over, which gives it a soft structure and an extra layer of warmth, without the bulk of a scarf.
Each cowl is knitted individually by me here in Cumbria, in [yarn line, see below]. It sits close and cosy at the neck, and it’s an easy way to lift a plain jumper or a winter coat.
Unisex, and lovely worn with the matching beanie, fingerless gloves or poncho from the collection.
