Gairloch Collection is inspired by Gairloch in the Scottish Highlands, where the mountains meet the sea.

A beautifully lightweight infinity scarf in a tweed effect yarn that's so tactile and comfortable against the skin. Can be worn single, or doubled over. So soft on the skin and of course won't blow off in the wind!

Knitted with a fine merino, silk and nylon yarn with a fairisle wave design and finished with one of my handcrafted buttons filled with sand from Gairloch beach.

Merino wool - Great for all year round, merino is one of my favourite yarns. Why I love merino wool - Light and airy, merino wool is a beautiful natural fibre, soft to the skin and it breathes naturally. Merino wool reacts to your body temperature, keeping you cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather, the perfect fibre.

Silk - silk is just luxury in a word and so comfortable to wear, it gives the poncho a lovely drape and alters the texture of the yarn to create a very tactile and soft to the skin poncho. It's also one of the strongest natural fibres and lightweight, breathable and hypoallergenic.

So, I couldn't resist knitting a collection with these two beautiful fibres combined together with the durability of nylon makes this poncho an easy care garment.

Matching poncho.
