Welcome to Elizabeth Larsen Knitwear, where style meets practicality. I am passionate about designing and creating knitwear that not only looks great but also serves a purpose in your wardrobe.
I'm Jan, the creative mind behind Elizabeth Larsen Knitwear, where I craft knitted accessories and knitwear for women who appreciate unique designs. My passion lies in creating pieces that stand out and reflect individuality. Each item is thoughtfully made to ensure style and comfort.

Like many knitters, I have a deep passion for yarns, wools, and the beautiful fibers available today. Living in a stunning part of the world, I am constantly inspired by the colours and textures of the landscape around me. I also admire traditional knitwear designs, which influence my work; you'll find my creations blend these classic styles with a contemporary twist. Each piece reflects my love for both heritage and modernity.

I enjoy designing knitwear that flatters women while being both stylish and practical. Using high-quality yarns and wools, many of which are spun in the British Isles, I like to create pieces that stand out. I often work with fine, almost sheer yarns to craft delicate items, and I love combining different yarns to develop vibrant colour palettes in my knitwear. Each piece is a unique blend of elegance and strength.

Elizabeth Larsen Knitwear is my personal brand, showcasing my distinctive style and a part of my identity—Larsen is my maiden name, while Elizabeth is my middle name. Knitting has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, inspired by my mum and grandmother we were and our a creative family that valued making things by hand. In the mid-1980s, I found a love for domestic knitting machines, which prompted me to enroll in every course I could find, eventually leading me to teach others.

I returned to commercial knitting over 10 years ago after a really long break, and I'm truly enjoying the process of creating beautiful knitwear again. I'm fortunate to have lived in some beautiful locations, where I find endless inspiration. In my spare time, you can find me exploring the mountains or walking along the beach, always on the lookout for natural patterns, textures, and colours to incorporate into my designs.
