Town House 1626 is based in Culross (known as Cranesmuir for Outlander fans) and well worth a visit.

Town House 1626 is more than a shop, it's an experience. The village is in the Kingdom of Fife and it transports you back in time, back to the 16th century.

I'm pleased to have my knitwear showcased in this beautiful setting, and if I had a shop, this is how I would like it to look. A feast for the eyes and an experience of historical indulgence as well as delightful things to purchase.

The many cobbled streets lead you to many historical buildings besides the Town House, Culross Palace, and the remains of Culross Abbey.
